The Trees

Overview

Built-in 1995, The Trees consists of seven flat blocks, each of which is a three-storey staircase. The flats are rented out to University of Hull students only, with the majority of students being sophomores, juniors and postgraduates. The dormitory is located in a popular student area of the University of Hull, with some supermarkets and restaurants, a bus stop on the doorstep to the city centre and a 9-minute walk to the University of Hull. The Trees is an excellent choice for students at the University of Hull.

Facilities

The Trees has various room types, including Non-En-suite and En-suite. For guests who need more privacy and comfort, the En-suite room type would be a good choice, with each room equipped with a private bathroom. The layout of each suite includes a living room, kitchen and bathroom, with the 5-person suite equipped with two bathrooms. Suites are furnished with a fully equipped kitchen with a cooker, fridge, microwave and washer-dryer.

Fees also include Wi-Fi, water and electricity.

Location

The Trees is located in a popular student neighbourhood of the University of Hull, with many bus stops along the perimeter and easy access to other places. There is also a supermarket on the doorstep and several restaurants, cafes and banks on Cottingham Road, making housing an excellent place for students to get around. There is a bus stop on the doorstep of the city centre, and the University of Hull is only a 9-minute walk away. The University of Hull is a 9-minute walk, and Hull Business School is a 13-minute walk.

Services and Security

The door to the flat has a security lock and is monitored 24 hours a day. Maintenance staff are available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; outside of these hours, there is a 24-hour emergency helpline in the event of an emergency. The flats employ Chinese management staff to cater to some international students' needs.
